Sign on for a unique wilderness journey into the Boundary Waters. You will paddle, get away into God’s beautiful creation, reflect, pray, sit by campfires, eat good food and form a wonderful paddling community for 4 days near Ely.

Cost includes all tents, packs, canoes, meals during the actual wilderness portion of the trip, US Forest Service permits/fees, lodging Sunday night in Ely and shower upon exit/towel. (we may also use some of our own gear...details to be shared once participants paid and confirmed).
DOES NOT include travel to and from (we will carpool), or meals Sunday or upon BWCA exit on Thursday.

Spots are filled in the order that completed forms and payment are received. (There is no reimbursement of payment after May 15th unless your spot can be filled by another traveler.)
Sunday, July 26: Depart from CtK for Ely, MN by 9 a.m. in shared vehicles
Monday, July 27 - Thursday, July 30 Enter the BWCA via and journey several lakes the next 3 ½ days
Thursday, July 30: Exit BWCA, shower, clean up and depart for CtK; some may elect to stay in town and explore....
Sunday: We arrive in Ely, MN in the early afternoon for orientation, packing, outfitting, dinner at restaurant of choice and group devotions (there may be time to explore Ely!). Housing is in Ely Outfitters bunkhouse with a shared bathroom.
Monday-Thursday: We will enter BWCA. Experience BWCA by paddling, portaging, swimming, napping, fishing, camping and growing in Christ. Each day will begin with First Word, and close with a campfire and devotions. We will talk about hopes for the trip before we depart, practice carrying a pack and a canoe and help to choose the menu.
Thursday: Our group will exit the BWCA, shower in Ely at Ely Outfitters and depart for home, (or explore).
Prior to the trip, we will gather to talk about our routes, details, packing and clothing suggestions, expectations, get to know one another and maybe even carry a canoe in preparation! And, you will be introduced to our devotional theme for our time in the wilderness.
